The 2009 Youthfest was held on the 4th July 2009

Here is the story of the day.

on Saturday 17th July 2009 at 2.00pm

WOW,  What a day,  The biggest so far,  Youthfest 2009,  was one to remember,  do we not have the most talented youth, everyone of them should be proud,  because we all were.  I must send a special thank you to Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje,  who was a true Star,  and all of us from Youthfest hope he will continue to be part of our event.  I have so many thank you's,  but some must be said,  Firstly, our Safer Neighbourhood Team, and the Police in general,  not only did they make the event safe but they took part with the TSG. Secondly,  the staff on the food, thanks guys and gals,  then there were the Stewards,  who gave there time free of charge,  I hope they enjoyed the event as much as us.  Thanks to all the people and groups who had stalls, every time I looked you were all busy.  It is going to be hard to top this years Youthfest,  but we will give it a go in 2010.  Please remember,  Youthfest is run by the Community for the Community.

On behalf of SLADA, and myself,  thanks to everyone, those who helped, those who were on stage, and especially those who came along to support us.  Lets do it again next year.
